Active tourism

• Cycletouring. Baix Empordà district has an extensive network of rural paths far from the main roads and suitable for travel by bicycle. Taking advantage of these paths and local roads, the District Council has created a cycletouring network whose perfect signposting means that the district’s landscapes can be admired peacefully (clic). The cycletouring network goes through the village of la Pera. It is possible to rent bikes, please ask in advance so that we can arrange for the bikes to be at the house.
• Hiking. Baix Empordà is an ideal place for hiking. The district is perfectly laid out for enjoying the various different types of landscape. (clic).
• Mountain bike. The district’s various mountainous zones have great mountain biking potential. Aware of this, Baix Empordà District Council has created a Mountain Bike Centre which has been officially approved by the Catalan Cycling Federation (FCC) and Turisme de Catalunya. Again we can arrange for mountain bike hire (clic).
• Water activities. The beauty of our coastline, already evident from the land, becomes an even more wonderful sight when viewed from the sea. (clic).
